Hi guys! So we had a slow go here at the Community over the holidays, but eh, I'm fine with that. The means you all were busy either stuffing your faces or wildly opening gifts, or doing what I did, spending about 24 hours worth of a week flying in and out of airports across the United States! Thank God I didn't go into or out of Detroit.

Christina Aguilera's New Year's resolution isn't new at all.

"To continue having the best life ever" is her resolution for 2010, she said while hosting a New Year's party at Tao Las Vegas Thursday. "I paved the way for the work this year [2009].

Her 2010 is shaping up to be extremely active, with a new album on the way and her movie [Burlesque], costarring Cher, set to be released. The two of them will also be presenters at the Golden Globes on Jan. 17.

"The album is done, the movie I'm [still] filming," she said. "Doing film is a whole different animal … The schedule is grueling, but it's been really amazing and an incredible learning experience."

Of all the moments in 2009, the one that most sticks out, she noted, was seeing son Max, who turns 2 Jan. 12, celebrate Christmas – which she considers the highlight of the year.

"That was the best memory, his face and seeing his everything come to life with Santa," she says. "It was really amazing."

Her still-untitled April release will be the pop powerhouse's first studio album since 2006's Back to Basics. Alongside usual suspects Linda Perry, who penned Aguilera's 2002 smash "Beautiful," and R&B hitmaker Tricky Stewart(Beyonce,Rihanna), the guest list reads like a roll call of cool-girl cred:MIA, Santigold, Le Tigre, Ladytron, and "Breathe Me" songstress Sia.

ChristinaVIP can confirm that the March 3rd release date which has been posted on HMV Japan is not correct. Even though no exact date has been released yet, I can tell you that you can expect the new album in the later weeks of April. This information coming directly from Christina’s camp.
